Breast Checks for women aged 50 to 70 along with regular mammograms reduce the chance of dying from breast cancer - see BreastScreen Aotearoa for more information. Huarahi vehicle travels to Kerikeri every third Thursday of each month - free of charge for those women who would like to travel as a group and support each other.
Patients with terminal illnesses receive free care either in the surgery or at home
For those patients with complex care requirements the Outreach Nursing Service provides home visits for care coordination
Reduced cost surgical services would otherwise only be available from the hospital
Free Sexual Health Services for young people under the age of 26. This includes contraception and screening for disease.
Free Mental Health Services for adults, families / whanau and community with mild to moderate problems.
